The Naomi’s Joy Shop

It was with great excitement that on 1 January 2016 the team at Naomi’s Joy took occupation of our new shop premises at 4A Green Parrot Place, Recreation Road, Fish Hoek.

After much cleaning, painting, and decorating, we opened for business on 11 January. We had an amazing team of volunteers who pitched in to help. We are so grateful for their hard work and delighted with the outcome. The shop looks beautiful! The Lord has so faithfully blessed us with good sales and a constant supply of donations. We have been warmly welcomed by shop owners and customers alike. It is wonderful to see how many people pop in to have a browse or even just to say hi, and we already have some regulars who come in every week to see what new and interesting merchandise we have in store.

Also so amazing to see our dreams taking shape as we are able to bless our Care Families with resources, as well as starting to make up our Resource packs, with which we intend to supply local Child Protection Agencies.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to all who have donated and contributed so far, as well as our lovely volunteers, who joyfully serve in the shop.
