Greetings from Naomi’s Joy

It is with delight that we send our latest Update. We will take a moment to review 2017 and all the amazing work that was accomplished.

We had barely said goodbye to one baby when the next one arrived, 2017 saw great movement with 4 babies being placed in their forever families, with 5 still in care as we enter 2018. We gained a new care family and another family in the screening process.

Our shop/ resource centre has continued to provide for our families (goods and finances), care packs for Child Welfare and gift packs for Wynberg Court, as well as money for training (an NPO quality systems training our board is participating in) and a public face for us. The tail end of this year saw us a bit lean financially, and our landlord kindly responded to our cry for help by not raising our rent by much.

That was just one miracle we experienced this year. We also got given money to enable us to provide gift cards for our volunteers at our year end tea, which blessed us hugely. The miracle of continuous donations is amazing.
We are blessed by faithful volunteers, prayer warriors, accountants, auditor, board members, care families and friends.

Naomi’s Joy continues to be a vision given to us by our Heavenly Father and we are so grateful for His continuous love, support, provision and the trust He places in us to care for these precious little lives.
We would love to tell you the stories of our babies, but they are personal and of course it is not legal to put their photos on any of our pages or our website.
