Dearest Naomi’s Joy Family
The year 2021 is fast drawing to a close. Our year end function is a mere few weeks away and then Christmas is before us. This will be our last news letter for 2021 and we will chat again in 2022.
As an organisation we have seen two new families come on board this covid season. One of the families cared for one baby, and decided the toll on their family and emotions was just too tough, so for now they have opted out of temporary safe care. Our very newest family have had their first little one for about 3 weeks now, they have had to deal with some sickness with the baby, but she seems on the mend now. We have had one little one’s adoption go through which is super duper cool! Another long awaited placement is about to happen (this was super delayed due to covid) and he will soon be placed with his forever family. It has been refreshing to see some movement with our families and babies.
Our shop is still hobbling along. We have been blessed with funds from outside paying our rent for most of this year and we have saved up a very small nest egg. We have endeavoured to make some more Naomi’s Joy clothing and we are planning an online shop. In order to do this we have had to revamp our website so it can host a shop (www.naomisjoy.co.za). We have had to plough some resources into this upgrade. We have had a wonderful helper, Benita, come forward to help us work on our social media marketing and to see how we can continue to fund Naomi’s Joy, bring traffic to the shop, and increase sales. We even have a google location now, so please take a photo at our shop and give us a review.
We would prefer to remain self-funded and are making every effort to make this a possibility.
A Christmas market! We have booked along with Y Knott Gear to do the Christmas Market at Sunvalley Primary School, 17th-22nd December, we would love your support!
Your continued support, love and commitment to Naomi’s Joy is of great value to us.
We trust you have a super Christmas, filled with the peace and presence of Jesus, and an amazing entry into 2022.
Greetings
Jane for Team Joy.
