Greetings Family and Friends
We hope this update finds you well. Can you believe it is already June? We are beginning to feel traction on so many levels at Naomi’s Joy. We are celebrating the end of our teething phase and looking ahead to an abundant future.

Our first training of 2023, was combined with an outreach to the community. We did FREE training on The Importance of Play in the First 1000 days. Mici Meridith prepared a wonderful presentation packed with interesting information to inspire us all. We had a great time playing and connecting with parents and caregivers from our community. We had PlayStations with all sorts of goodies to encourage play and enjoyed watching people use their creativity to think up new and exciting ways of using ordinary household items. It was a good time. Thanks to all who attended and supported us with set up and clean up.
God has connected us with @Carikabebb and we are so excited to announce the Golf day she is spearheading on 1 September. Naomi’s Joy is a nominated recipient of the funds the event will raise. Please share with all your golfing friends!
We were gifted a voucher from Checkers and we had great fun shopping for the little ones in our care. Thanks you @checkers
We have seen one baby leave very successfully to his adoptive family. It was a very precious hand over and I was privileged to meet his forever mom and dad. We also saw one baby transition into foster care, which was challenging but necessary.
Otherwise, some families are taking a well-earned break, while others continue to put in the hard work to give these little ones the best possible start in life.
Please keep us all in prayer.
