Greetings family and friends

 

As we approach the end of another year, we must take a moment to reflect on the goodness of God towards us and all the amazing and hard moments.

 

As Naomi’s Joy,  for the first time, we mourned one of our babies, this was very painful and tough for all of us. We want to take a moment to remember Eli and to champion our family for loving him and being willing to go through the pain of loss. As well as giving him such a beautiful send-off. 

We have said goodbye to 3 babies to their forever families since March. We still have 7 children in foster care, 3 of which are waiting for their forever families. We also have 2 babies in temporary safe care at this time. 

 

Our fundraising tea was a great success and enjoyed by all,

we raised about R20 000, plus a donation of R10 000 from an individual who was at the tea. Thanks to Carika 

Bebb for your love and support towards us as an organisation and as a friend to me (Jane). 

 

 

We have changed our way of connecting with our families by visiting them. Gathering them all in one space at once is impossible as they are widespread around the Western Cape. We have had some fabulous times together.

 

Being chosen as the recipient of the September Star Baby donation was an answer to prayer! Although we have a faithful donor of R15 000 a month, this money injection was such a big blessing to us. We received R122 619.00, which has really helped us to take the edge off.

 

We had the privilege of being part of the Community Mental Health Convention, as an exhibitor. It was an informative and fun-filled networking time.

To end the year off we will be visiting the Drakenstein Lion Park again! We will celebrate another year of doing God’s heart together, one baby at a time to give them the best possible start in life! As well as celebrating our families, our babies, our funding blessings, our team and the privilege of doing life together.
